Rebecca Nurse was the oldest woman to be killed at the Salem witch trials. Hear Rebecca's story come to life through a living history portrayal from actress Molly Cornwall.
About the Performer:
Molly Cornwell joined Women in History in 2022 and is delighted to be part of this organization. She has always loved reading about famous as well as “ordinary” women, though she really doesn’t believe that any woman is truly ordinary. Having grown up in a family of nine girls and five boys, Molly thanks her mother and sisters for being such excellent role models, instilling in her a pride and can-do appreciation for women.
Molly’s theatre work is extensive as an actor and a director. She is also a member of SAG/AFTRA, doing voice-over and on-camera work, and is a Master Teacher of the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique. Prior to her life in the theatre, Molly worked in advertising as an account executive, film sales rep, and radio-tv director and producer.
Currently Molly and her husband Mike, known as Mike & Molly, sing and perform at local restaurants, wineries, and retirement communities. She happily babysits her adorable granddaughters and loves that both her daughters and son-in-law live in the Cleveland area. Life is good!
